As a Senior Quality Assurance Specialist within our Life & Investments Claims team, you’ll play a critical role in strengthening the quality, consistency, and integrity of our life claims outcomes. You provide deep technical insight, independent assurance, and clear guidance that helps our claims teams deliver fair, timely, and customer centred decisions.
Sitting at the intersection of claims, governance, and transformation, you’ll influence how quality is measured, understood, and continuously improved. Your work will directly support better customer experiences, strong regulatory outcomes, and smarter, more efficient ways of working as we continue our digital and capability uplift.
You will also be responsible for the following:
- Leading technical quality assurance activities across life claims portfolios to ensure alignment with Zurich standards and regulatory expectations.
- Providing clear, actionable insights that drive continuous improvement in claims quality, risk management, and customer outcomes.
- Partnering with claims leaders and governance teams to embed quality frameworks into day to day operations.
- Using data and analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for uplift across claims practices.
- Supporting capability building through coaching, knowledge sharing, and technical guidance, contributing to the evolution of quality assurance frameworks, processes, and reporting.

You’re someone who brings curiosity, confidence, and sound judgement to complex work. You collaborate naturally with stakeholders, communicate with clarity, and are motivated by making a real difference for customers while strengthening quality and trust across the business.
In order to be successful, you will have the following:
- Extensive experience in life insurance claims, with strong exposure to group and retail claims environments.
- Proven background in technical claims.
- Background in quality assurance, governance, or audit related roles.
- Strong understanding of life claims assessment processes and relevant regulatory legislation.
- Ability to analyse quality data and translate insights into practical, value adding actions.
- Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and influencing quality outcomes.
- Confidence working with systems, reporting tools, and evolving digital environments
- Minimum Certificate IV in Life Insurance
